My name is Derek Patterson, and I am a prospective staff member with FCA Steel Valley. I have always had a strong passion for sports, but my passion for Christ is greater. With a background in sports, whether playing, coaching or working with young athletes and young adults I am excited to share the LOVE of GOD to so many others through FCA.

Before FCA, I held numerous positions in the Recreation Field and something was always missing. That missing piece was the opportunity to teach the youth God's purpose through sports. With this opportunity I will be able to help reach more student athletes and help them to conquer their ultimate goal - Eternal Life with our Creator.



I currently reside in New Springfield, OH as a father of 2 amazing kids. Outside of sports, I enjoy Hiking, volunteering in the High School Ministry at Greenford Christian Church and relaxing on the couch watching a great movie. I am looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me and I can't wait for you to come along with me! God Bless!
